The testing of the units is carried out in a climate controlled data acquisition test cell. The air flow is regulated through computer-controlled regulators and flow-control devices at a maximum of 150 PSI. A highly efficient 144-Kilowatt heater provides air temperatures ranging from ambient to 1300° F. Precision flow meters, pressure transducers, thermocouples, vibration, rotational speed and shaft excursion transducers are provided as needed, per unit testing requirements. Heat exchangers are also available for a wide range of units per manufacturer’s testing specifications.
All test results are available in both data point plot and line graphs depicting all testing parameters throughout test.
Fixtures and equipment required for testing are designed and developed in-house by our engineering staff. Complete functionality, along with prompt turnaround times on units are ensured.
Looking towards the future, the company is both prepared and willing to extend our services and strengthen our capabilities as demand increases.
Cool & Start Aviation, Inc. will perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations on the articles stated on its Capability List.
